Description:
A vacancy has arisen for a Customer Service Claims Executive reporting to the
Regional Service Manager. The successful applicant will ideally have a sound
knowledge of insurance and will be responsible for the delivery of customer
service standards within the Department.
The job involves:-
Manage, coach and direct the Customer Service Claims Department to meet the
Group's objectives and Service standards.
Ensuring that the Department handles all claims in a cost effective manner in
accordance with Group Guidelines, Procedures and Claims Philosophy.
Work with Regional Service Manager and Executives to deliver consistent
service standards both Regionally and Nationally.
Ensure sufficient skilled resource exists within the Department through staff
development, succession planning and recruitment.
Meeting objectives and targets set by Group Claims M and RSM.
Ensuring Compliance with the responsibilities and obligations imposed by the
FSA and overseeing complaints.
Develop and maintain working relationships with the Agency network, Operations
team and third party providers, as appropriate.
Manage the implementation of procedural and process changes to the Department.
Deputise for the Regional Services Manager as required.
The successful Applicant will have:-
The ability to lead and motivate the Department.
Ability to manage people and teams through periods of change acting as a
change agent at all times.
Excellent people and work management skills.
Initiative, constantly looking for and suggesting and implementing
improvements in processes and methods of work.
Strong leadership, excellent judgement and decision making.
Good communication/negotiating skills, verbal and written.
Ideally applicants will have a sound knowledge of Insurance and hold ACII.
However, we would accept applications from candidates who hold a degree or
equivalent qualification.
