Description:
- The Recovery Team handles claims for both the North and South Units. The
claims vary from Third Party negligence to Contractual Liability claims. The
critical KPI is financially measured, with the potential of recovering in
access of £6 million per annum.
- Other KPI’s target elapsed days, identification rate and stock.
- The team currently consists of 5 team members.
- Work is distributed by case ownership. There is a referral structure in
place for technical support for all team members. Each team member will be
responsible for managing their workload (diary, post, new recoveries, reviews
and phone calls).
- Teamwork is the key ability that drives the success of this team. You will
share knowledge and experience to ensure that this is a high-performance team.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
- A level standard education.
- Customer focused - actively seeks and responds appropriately to customers
needs. Knowledge of insurance principles and relevant case law, products,
policies and claims philosophy.
- Sound knowledge of claims process.
- Effective and clear communication, excellent telephone listening and rapport
building skills.
- Confident at negotiating with an ability to influence outcomes. Organised
and able to prioritise. Focused on file settlement.
- Team player.
- 2 years experience in a relevant insurance or customer service
background.
