Description:
Our Leading Client, one of the UK’s top insurance companies are looking to
appoint a ATE Operations Controller to their team in Bristol, working closely
with the management team you will be responsible for contributing to the
smooth running and profitability and performance of the After The Event (ATE)
operations claims team and the management of a panel of solicitors
performance.
The day to day role will involve:
- The supervision and motivation of a team of ATE Claims Handlers
- Active Management of a panel of solicitors to include implementing agreed
business plans
- Monitor and improve where necessary claims handling performance
- Provide accurate and ongoing feedback on the performance of the solicitors
panel.
- Manage and maintain effective relationships with the panel of solicitors and
other key business partners.
Candidates will need up to date knowledge of the ATE sector gained in either a
legal or financial environment, with an understanding of solicitors and claims
management companies processes in the ATE market.
Candidates should ideally have a strong claims background, with the ability to
manage and develop a team of claims handlers, with a wider skill set that
includes analytical, management, IT, Communication (both Written and Verbal)
and negotiation shills.
Our client is currently offering a salary of up to £34,000 with a benefits
package that includes 25 days holiday, a non contributory pension and a varied
flexible benefits package.
