Do you feel like you are ready to take on board more responsibility in your
career and the associated prospects this could present? If so this could be the
role for you. Our client, a leading International financial services group, is
seeking a claims professional with medical & financial assessment experience,
or underwriting experience, to join their busy team in Edinburgh. You will be
responsible for assessing the liability of death, living cover, waiver of
premium and income protection plan claims across all systems within the group.

Additionally, you will be expected to operate within clearly defined
turnaround targets, quality measures and personal authority limits to ensure
that your decisions to accept or decline are made correctly and promptly in
line with the companies philosophy and usual claims assessment tools. You will
be able to provide coaching and technical support to your colleagues and will
have dealings with FOS, Reassurers, Legal, Actuarial, Compliance and Marketing
departments.
