Title:
Pensions Communications Specialist
Reference:
WEB461248AG
Salary:
to £45,000 + Outstanding Package
Location:
Surrey
Description:
This is a rare opportunity to work as a Communications Specialist in the in
house pensions department of a large, household name global business. The
role involves supporting both the policy and administration functions in
carrying out all aspects of communications and education to a varied and
extremely large membership. The work includes working with both traditional
and online media tools to implement and roll out major programmes of
membership communication and financial education covering a broad spectrum of
topics from general industry and legislative trends and developments to
company specific initiatives and proposals. The role involves working closely
with the head of department and benefits from a tremendous variety of rolling
and ongoing projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years bespoke
pensions communications experience, perhaps gained in-house or at a
consultancy, and will need a strong technical knowledge of DB schemes and
associated legislation. Understandably, a key attribute will be the ability
to interpret complex information and articulate it in a clear, concise and
straightforward manner to a large audience.
