My client is one of the top financial planning consultancies having offices
throughout the country. Their core philosophy has been to develop long lasting
relationships by providing professional, impartial advice and investment
management services to both private clients and businesses. As the company has
grown, they have been conscious of evolving and developing their business
model to support exceptional high standards. This has included significant
investment in the back office infrastructure and systems, and the development
of a robust, scaleable technical & administration team of experienced FS
specialists.

A unique opportunity has arisen in the Newcastle office to support one of the
top performing IFAs in the country. The consultant in question works with
ultra high net worth clients, including FTSE 100 directors, and for this
reason is involved with providing highly sophisticated financial planning. In
addition to giving quality pensions and investment advice, the role will
involve working with specialist products such as Venture Capital Trusts, Film
Partnerships, Hedge Funds, and Structured Products in order to provide clients
with top level esoteric solutions. For this reason, the successful applicant
would ideally hold full diploma status (pref. including J01, J04 & J06), or
full AFPC (pref. G10, G20 & G60) and have working knowledge & experience at
this level. A good degree of paraplanning and product research experience is
essential due to the nature of the position and its demands.
