My client is a very successful, national firm of Independent Financial
Advisers. With advisers based either from branches or from home, they are
consistently exceeding targets and gaining new customers despite the
competitive nature of the industry. An opportunity is available for an
individual to join them as a telephone based business developer with the
ultimate aim of moving into an IFA role sometime in the future.

The role involves making outbound calls to prospective clients from warm lead
sources provided from maturities, seminars, direct mail responses, national
and local advertising and affinity partners. In addition, you will also
taking inbound calls from several 0800 numbers. These are publicised in a
wide variety of media such as Local and National Newspapers and generate a
healthy level of response.

Successful candidates will have drive, enthusiasm, personality and desire to
deliver a first class service. Technical knowledge of financial services is
desirable but not essential. A proven track record of sales success over the
telephone as well as excellent communication skills are essential. Financial
Services Investment experience would be an advantage and full FPC/Certificate
of Financial Planning is a pre-requisite.

In return, you will receive a basic salary of £18,000 with bonus taking this
to £27,000. Personal development will be at the very core of the role as you
look to move up to a financial advisory role which would then see your overall
earnings at least doubled.
