Description:
The London office of a major international Financial Services Group requires an experienced Compliance Manager to join their wealth management/asset management arm in what is a key senior appointment.
You will be an experienced financial planning compliance specialist with an in-depth knowledge of the investment and pensions (group and personal) markets. You must have experience in a similar senior compliance position and will have passed at least the FPC/Certificate in Financial Planning but will ideally have passed the AFPC or Diploma in Financial Planning. You will also have an understanding of discretionary investment management and collective investment schemes (regulated and unregulated).
This is a wide ranging, challenging compliance based position covering many areas including providing advice on and monitoring of adherence to FSA and company regulation, anti money laundering regulation and guidance and guidance and advice on internal control and risk management issues.
