A very well established and diversified underwriting business based in the heart of the London insurance market is recruiting for a Management Accountant who will report directly to the Head of Group Accounting.
The role will involve managing two group company ledgers, reconciliation of balances, analysis of key account balances, assisting in the production of financial statements, general internal reporting, assisting in the production of the statutory accounts, internal and external audit liaison and ad hoc project work.
Applicants will ideally be ACCA/CIMA qualified accountants with relevant management accounts experience ideally gained working for an insurance company, experience of preparing information for and liaising with internal or external auditors and have the ability to construct own reports and documents using advanced excel techniques.
