Description:
A well known Syndicate trading in the specialty insurance market is recruiting for a Financial Accountant to assist the Financial Controller in the preparation of their quarterly US GAAP accounts.
The successful candidate will work on various US reports including expenses reconciliations, inter company accounts reconciliation, completion of monthly and quarterly cash flow statements, budgeting, forecasting, and completion of corporate tax returns, monthly investment accounting and development of accounting systems.
Applicants must have previous insurance market experience with Lloyd’s experience preferred, have US GAAP experience and advanced excel skills. Previous experience is the key to this position and although accounting qualifications would be an advantage they are not essential for this position.
