Description:
Our client is a large well respected insurance company who are looking to recruit within there Claims Unit at York. Due to this expansion are looking for an Equine Claims Team Leader to assist in the management of the Equine Claims Department and be responsible for delivering an efficient and effective service. The successful applicant will report to the Equine Executive.
Distribution and control of work within the team using AOM principles Guidance and supervision of a team Authorisation of cheques and quality control measures Training and development of staff Handle more complex claims and complaints
Knowledge of general insurance processes and procedures including FSA and other regulatory requirements The ability to lead and provide enthusiastic motivation to their team A commitment to delivering a first class claims service A 'can do' attitude with the ability to influence and implement change Strong communication and listening skills A commitment to train and develop others
Required Qualifications / Other Information A minimum of 5 GCSE's including maths and english. ACII is desirable, but candidates with DIP CII will be considered. Equine knowledge would be an advantage.
