Our client a large insurance company in York now have equine claims handler
vacancies within the team. Successful applicants will work closely with vets
and other equine experts and deal with all aspects of equine claims.

Job Specification


Handle all types of equine claims
Liaise with adjusters, vets and consultant vets.
Deal directly with the customer on the telephone or in writing
Provide information to underwriters for renewal information
Keep agents informed about their clients' claims
Occasionally visit vets, insureds and agents when need arises

Self motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to think of new ideas
Able to work under pressure and to manage and prioritise a changing workload
Good communication skills

Required Qualifications / Other Information
A minimum of 5 GCSE's at grade C to include Maths and English.
Ideally Equine educated to at least HND level or have proven ability and
experience of handling equine claims
