Role Overview:

The role will involve acting as the principal driver to the senior management
team for a worldwide insurance company.
In addition, the role is responsible for co-ordinating a seamless
transportation service, via third party suppliers, to the senior management
which will include any company sponsored events.
The role is also responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the
company vehicle.

Duties:

Main driver for the CEO and other members of the senior management team.
Book and co-ordinate transportation services for senior management where you
are not available to provide the service.
In conjunction, and with the approval of, the Facilities Manager, agree third
party suppliers, negotiate cost effective fee structures, service level
agreements and work volume.
Manage and operate a smooth and seamless service to all employees.
Advising pick up / collection and drop-off times.
Ensure the cost effective maintenance and booking of requests.
Maintenance of all records and invoices related to corporate transportation.
Ensuring all invoices are approved by the Facilities Manager.
Production of Management Information to monitor spend and volume of work on a
monthly basis.
Ensure service cover is in place during times of absence.
Ensure a responsive and customer focussed service at all times.
Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the vehicle.
Ensure all legal and mechanical requirements/services/overhauls are conducted
on time and in a cost effective manner.
Make recommendations for service improvements.

Key Requirements:

The successful candidate will need to have excellent driving skills and a
thorough knowledge of all relevant driving regulations.
c. 5 years+ experience as a corporate / private chauffeur / driver
Expert knowledge of road transport routes for London and the surrounding
suburbs
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
IT literate – email, BlackBerry, remote desktop access
Clean valid driving licence

Additional Information:

Working hours are c. 40 hours per week but vary due to the nature of the work
and will be at both sociable and unsociable times.
