Description:
Leading Financial Service Group is now seeking an experieced qualified actuary
for this new role as a Senior Manager into the Asset Liability Management
departmentl. You will be directing and managing the Asset Liability team which
plays a major role in the financial and capital management of the business.
The remit of the team is as follows:
- to manage the processes by which investment strategy is set for life
insurance companies in the business;
- to carry out reviews of the current and projected financial condition of key
business divisions, providing results and recommendations to high levels of
quality;
- to undertake a range of asset liability investigations and supply required
reports.
You should be
- Qualified actuary with several years’ relevant post qualification experience
- Experience in regulatory valuation of the Life and Pensions business and
Asset Liability Management
- Stochastic modelling experience
- A track record of delivery of a range of projects requiring actuarial and
project management skills
- Environmental awareness of relevant valuation and accounting regulations
- Strong influencing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within and outside the
organisation
- Excellent and proven interpersonal/relationship building skills
